Kupang, seblang.com – Pengelolaan limbah bahan berbahaya dan beracun (B3) menjadi tantangan tersendiri bagi industri dan fasilitas kesehatan di Kupang, Nusa Tenggara Timur. Namun, berkat kehadiran PT Sagraha Satya Sawahita, proses pengangkutan limbah B3 dapat dilakukan dengan aman, efisien, dan bertanggung jawab.
PT Sagraha Satya Sawahita merupakan satu-satunya perusahaan di Kupang yang memiliki izin resmi dari Kementerian Lingkungan Hidup dan Kehutanan Indonesia untuk mengumpulkan dan mengangkut limbah B3 dari fasilitas kesehatan seperti rumah sakit dan klinik, serta dari industri-industri yang menghasilkan limbah berbahaya.
“Kami menyadari pentingnya pengelolaan limbah B3 yang tepat untuk mencegah dampak buruk terhadap lingkungan dan kesehatan masyarakat. Oleh karena itu, kami berkomitmen untuk menjalankan operasi pengangkutan limbah B3 dengan standar tertinggi dan kepatuhan terhadap peraturan yang berlaku,” ungkap Kepala Operasional PT. Sagraha Satya Sawahita, Pucca Hezkya, Rabu (5/6/2024).
Salah satu aspek utama dalam operasi pengangkutan limbah B3 oleh PT Sagraha Satya Sawahita adalah kepatuhan terhadap aturan dan perizinan yang ketat. Perusahaan ini memastikan bahwa seluruh limbah B3 medis dan industri yang diangkutnya benar-benar dikirimkan kepada pihak pengolah yang memiliki izin resmi dari pemerintah. Seluruh dokumen yang terkait, baik dokumen kapal pengangkut maupun dokumen transportasi limbah B3, adalah dokumen resmi yang dikeluarkan oleh instansi berwenang.
“Jumlah dan jenis limbah B3 yang kami angkut sesuai dengan berita acara dan manifes elektronik (festronik) yang diterbitkan oleh Kementerian Lingkungan Hidup dan Kehutanan Indonesia. Kami memastikan bahwa setiap langkah dalam proses pengangkutan limbah B3 dilakukan dengan transparan dan dapat dipertanggungjawabkan,” tegas Pucca Hezkya yang akrab disapa Eky ini. .
Bentuk tanggung jawab PT Sagraha Satya Sawahita dalam proses pengangkutan limbah B3 tidak berhenti sampai di situ. Setelah diterima oleh pihak pengolah, setiap pengiriman limbah B3 akan mendapatkan sertifikat pemusnahan limbah B3 sebagai bukti bahwa limbah tersebut telah diolah dengan cara yang aman bagi lingkungan.
“Sertifikat ini menjadi jaminan bahwa PT Sagraha Satya Sawahita telah menjalankan tanggung jawabnya dengan baik, dari awal hingga akhir proses pengiriman limbah B3 kepada pihak pengolah limbah yang tentunya juga berizin resmi,” ujar Eky.
